How I managed to get rid of my migraines

So I’ve been suffering from migraines on the right side of my head (sometimes it feels like a sharp pain behind my right eye). I’ve had them for years and they occur on a weekly basis. When I get them I’m not too sensitive to light, but I don’t really want to talk to anyone. I try not to take Advil because I feel like it would do harm to my body if I were to take them every week. I’ve gone to many doctors and they just seem to all dismiss it as a normal migraine and do nothing really to help me.

That’s when I decided to take it in my own hands and do something about it.

I had this one doctor prescribe me ANTI-DEPRESENTS. Like no. If I’m not going to take Advil imagine what luck you’ll get me to take those. No. The main reason I went to these doctors was for them to tell me a natural way of curing these. But none of them did. They always just go straight to their clipboard to scribble down some pills to pop when convenient – ultimately just covering the problem up and not actually fixing it.

I’ve always been a believer of eastern medicines. You know, the organic and natural way of curing yourself. Herbs and exercise and stuff like that. That’s when someone told me that migraines might be a result of knots in your back (since everything is connected). Also, I decided to take up hot yoga.

I went for a deep tissue massage and started going to yoga simultaneously and the migraines, for the first time in 4 years, have stopped. I wanted to see if this was a permanent cure, but unfortunately it was not. After my one-month yoga membership ran out and I stopped a to classes, almost right away my migraines came back. Same right side of my head.

But at least I found something that works for me. I know that not everyone is the same, but I feel like it would be selfish of me not to share how I cured my migraines when no other doctor could, and it’s all natural. Plus, yoga has MANY other beneficial outcomes to it – clear, perfect skin is one of them.

My prescription to stop migraines is:

  • Hot Yoga (about 4 times a week – I had an unlimited monthly pass)
  • Deep Tissue Massage

How lovely. I knew from the moment I started reading that only nature would be the cure. Thank God you are doing ok now

Yup. Same here. I knew there had to be some way to get rid of them naturally, I just had to figure it out myself
